Service Description

This is piece is not only aesthetically gorgeous to the eye but it also makes a great conversation piece for dinner parties. During your class you'll learn the basics of working with clay, slab rolling, lace transfers and sponge painting. The boards will be left to dry for two weeks and then ready to be kiln baked. The fun doesn't stop there, after the first baking it'll turn into white bisque and ready to be painted. Come back anytime during our studio hours and complete your one of a kind piece. $50+tax includes instructions & supplies. Cancellation Policy

GENERAL POLICY: General bookings are non refundable and may turn into walk-in painting store credit if you're not able to attend. Your store credit will be good for one full year from the date of your scheduled event, after that it will expire. WORKSHOP CANCELLATIONS: you may cancel your spot with a 48 hr notice, your deposit amount will turn into store credit that can be used anytime for walk-in painting or you may reschedule another possible class, your credit will be valid for up to one year. If you reschedule for a class and if cancelled a second time your deposit will be invalid going forward. We appreciate a 48hr notice to avoid any unnecessary set up, if we are not notified your credit will be invalid. LATE FOR A WORKSHOP: We start our classes on time, so please don’t be late. We understand that sometimes there are unforeseeable issues. These things happen. Do try your best to not disturb the class any further once you have arrived. If you are 5-10 minutes late to a workshop it makes it really hard on the instructor and the class. Please avoid this by arriving 5-10 minutes early. The classroom itself will open up 5 minutes before the start of the class so you have time to grab an apron and settle in. If you are more than 15 minutes late to a workshop you are just not going to have enough time to complete the necessary steps in the project and you may not be able to join in. Understand that we cannot offer a refund or credit if you are late and unable to join the class. We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations and transfers and could have had another artist in your place. Thank you for your understanding. CLAY WORKSHOP NOTICE: Kiln clay explosions are unlikely but they do happen. In the event of a clay piece being damaged due to a kiln explosion, we are happy to provide an opportunity to come in and remake your art piece, you have 35 days to rebook after notification after that it will be invalid. Refunds are not provided for damaged clay due to kiln explosions. Please note each artist is responsible for ensuring pieces are securely attached and follow the necessary steps in order to avoid breakage and air pockets. Main Ideas is not responsible for repair or replacement to clay pieces.
