A fun filled week of different and cool art technique projects!
Available spots
Service Description
Sign up your artist in a muti-media art adventure! We'll be exploring a number of different art techniques such as clay wheel throwing, clay sculpting, pottery painting, canvas painting, UV canvas splatter painting & traditional canvas painting. For a more in depth look into each project please read the description displayed on the main camp page. All campers must be 7+ years old to complete these projects, some will be completed over the course of a few days. We don't recommend it but younger painters are welcome to attend (no younger than 5 years old) but they must accompanied by an older sibling that can assist them through each activity and must have patience working on pieces over sometime. We give all of our painters a good amount of equal attention, some more then others however we can't dedicate all of our instructors time to one younger child. Approximately one hour of our day will be outdoors so the kids can get some fresh air for snack time. Locations will include splash pad fun, all our kids play park, fairy lake scavenger hunts and walks. Parents will have to sign a wavier the first day of camp, outdoor attendance is mandatory. Morning settling /brainstorming: 9:00-9:30 | Art Time: 9:30-10:30 | Outdoor snack/play time: 10:30-11:15 | Masterpiece touch ups or ongoing project: 11:00-12:00 *Please bring your own nut free snack/meal, reusable water bottle, bathing suit and sunscreen. Encase of rain we will eat inside and play some fun games or crafts.

Cancellation Policy
PARTY POLICY: -Deposit: All parties have a non refundable deposit of $50 to hold the date and time. We do not reschedule/move private parties without significant notice (1 week). If you cancel you will need to re-book and your deposit is lost as we held that spot and turned away other bookings. - Parents and other non-participating guests: Space is limited! Please communicate to parents of your participating guests that this is a drop-off event. We have limited capacity for extra parents. You are welcome to have one or two parents assist you with your party but we find parties work best when mom and dad of the guests have left. If a parent is going to stay behind they will need to spend their time creating something themselves in the main studio while they wait for the conclusion of the party. This is also true of any relatives that maybe joining you. This excludes the early party slot from 10am-11:45am before opening that is recommended for younger painters (6 years and younger). - Confirming your guest count: The Guest of Honour is included in your guest count. Please confirm your final guest count with us 48 hours in advance of your party. If we don't hear from you we will plan your party around the original guest count you provided at time of booking. WORKSHOP CANCELLATIONS (wheels and clay hand building): you may cancel your spot with a 48 hr notice, your deposit amount will turn into store credit that can be used anytime for walk-in painting or you may reschedule another possible class, your credit will be valid for up to one month. If you reschedule for a class and if cancelled a second time your deposit will be invalid going forward. We appreciate a 48hr notice to avoid any unnecessary set up, if we are not notified your credit will be invalid. Deposits are non refundable if not notified 48 hours prior and will be used to pay for the instructors dedicated time. LATE FOR A WORKSHOP: We start our classes on time, so please don’t be late. We understand that sometimes there are unforeseeable issues. These things happen. Do try your best to not disturb the class any further once you have arrived. If you are 5-10 minutes late to a workshop it makes it really hard on the instructor and the class. Please avoid this by arriving 5-10 minutes early. The classroom itself will open up 5 minutes before the start of the class so you have time to grab an apron and settle in. CLAY DAMAGE: Kiln clay explosions are unlikely but they do happen. Refunds are not provided for damaged clay due to kiln explosions. Please note each artist is responsible for ensuring pieces are securely attached and follow the necessary steps in order to avoid breakage and air pockets. Main Ideas is not responsible for repair or replacement to clay pieces. LATE FOR WORKSHOP: If you are more than 15 minutes late to a workshop you are just not going to have enough time to complete the necessary steps in the project and you may not be able to join in. Understand that we cannot offer a refund or credit if you are late and unable to join the class. We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations and transfers and could have had another artist in your place. Thank you for your understanding.
