Service Description

Come on in for a relaxing yet exciting time pottery painting! Choose from a wide range of pottery figures, after selecting your piece(s) you'll be guided through your creative journey lead by one of our paint experts. We'll first starting with a paint explanation about the tools and materials you'll use to get the best possible piece then we'll check up on your periodically to make sure you have everything you need. Price is based on the pottery piece you select, prices start at $25 but the majority are in the $28-$35 range. This price is all inclusive (not including tax) which means your piece will include the paint, materials, paint expert advice/ assistance, kiln baking and an unlimited amount of time in the studio. After you're done painting, your pottery piece will be left with us to be hand glazed and kiln baked to a brilliant food safe shiny. The turn around period for pick up is approximately 1 week (Covid has effected our turn around time, we'll give you a better estimation in the studio).

Cancellation Policy

GENERAL POLICY: General bookings are non refundable and may turn into walk-in painting store credit if you're not able to attend. Your store credit will be good for one full year from the date of your scheduled event, after that it will expire. WORKSHOP CANCELLATIONS: you may cancel your spot with a 48 hr notice, your deposit amount will turn into store credit that can be used anytime for walk-in painting or you may reschedule another possible class, your credit will be valid for up to one year. If you reschedule for a class and if cancelled a second time your deposit will be invalid going forward. We appreciate a 48hr notice to avoid any unnecessary set up, if we are not notified your credit will be invalid. LATE FOR A WORKSHOP: We start our classes on time, so please don’t be late. We understand that sometimes there are unforeseeable issues. These things happen. Do try your best to not disturb the class any further once you have arrived. If you are 5-10 minutes late to a workshop it makes it really hard on the instructor and the class. Please avoid this by arriving 5-10 minutes early. The classroom itself will open up 5 minutes before the start of the class so you have time to grab an apron and settle in. If you are more than 15 minutes late to a workshop you are just not going to have enough time to complete the necessary steps in the project and you may not be able to join in. Understand that we cannot offer a refund or credit if you are late and unable to join the class. We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations and transfers and could have had another artist in your place. Thank you for your understanding. CLAY WORKSHOP NOTICE: Kiln clay explosions are unlikely but they do happen. In the event of a clay piece being damaged due to a kiln explosion, we are happy to provide an opportunity to come in and remake your art piece, you have 35 days to rebook after notification after that it will be invalid. Refunds are not provided for damaged clay due to kiln explosions. Please note each artist is responsible for ensuring pieces are securely attached and follow the necessary steps in order to avoid breakage and air pockets. Main Ideas is not responsible for repair or replacement to clay pieces.
