We'll be sending you underglaze paints! What does this mean? The paint is non-toxic, cleans easily and does not stain. Painted pottery will need to be returned to Main Ideas (once we return to normal hours) and we'll glaze & kiln bake your piece. Fired Pieces will be packaged up and we will reach out to you for pick-up. baked pottery pieces are non-toxic, you may eat off of it and is easily washable.

There are two colour selections pottery and acrylic paints.
Pottery paints are a special type of paint that can withstand high tempertures in a kiln. Other paints for example acrylic is hazardous in high temperatures and therefore cannot be kiln baked. After kiln baking you'll see your piece transform from a dull surfice to a bright shiny finish just like the picture. You get 5 colours to choose from that you can list in the field bellow.
Acrylic paint is great for having a ready to go art piece right away, you can display your piece as soon as the paint dries. No kiln baking required, WOW that was easy.
